POST 16 RESULTS DAYS 2026

Celebrating Post 16 Success for Cranford Students

Cranford is celebrating in the sunshine as A-level results rise again at its large and thriving Sixth Form, which continues to grow  in both size and student success.

Students and staff at Cranford Community College are enjoying another successful results season, with average points per A-level entry rising by 3.1% year on year.

Cranford Sixth Form continues to grow as a centre of Post-16 excellence — combining high expectations with an exceptionally inclusive approach and a broad academic, technical and vocational curriculum. Students have continued the upward trend, achieving impressive results across A Levels, T Levels and BTEC qualifications. The 2026 results show a significant increase in top grades with 37% of A-level grades awarded at A*- B, and more than two - thirds of results at A*-C.

Chief Executive Officer Kevin Prunty said: “The sustained improvement in A level results is a tremendous achievement for these hard-working students and their teachers. It is equally pleasing that 85% of final T Level grades, were at Merit or Distinction. This demonstrates what Inspectors recently observed: Cranford students are ambitious for their futures and well prepared for their next steps, whether at university, through an apprenticeship or employment. Our students are moving on to some of the country's most prestigious universities but also into leading industries, taking with them the great depth of skills and experience developed during their time at Cranford."

The results follow Cranford’s recent independent inspection, which judged Inclusion and Personal Development & Wellbeing to be "Exceptional" — the highest possible standard — and specifically recognised Cranford’s post-16 provision as “exceptionally inclusive”. All other graded areas were judged "Strong".

Students benefit from extensive leadership, careers and enrichment opportunities, alongside international experiences including Japan, South Korea, and Thailand.
