Examinations & Certificates

Exam Certificates are important legal documents that prove a person's qualifications and grades.
It is important that they are kept safe and secure for the long term.
Most educational establishments and future employers will need to inspect your certificates before confirming an offer of study or employment.
Certificates pertaining to Summer 2018 examinations
Certificates will be available from early December 2018, but will be destroyed after one year if uncollected.
Certificates are available to collect from the academy reception on weekdays only.
Please Note: From Monday, 29th October 2018, the academy reception will normally open between 8.30am -10.30am and between 2.30pm-4.30pm during term time.
To arrange collection of your certificates please contact the Senior Examinations Officer, Mr Lyden, in advance using the 'Contact Us' section of this website and await confirmation of an appointment.
On arrival, use the Visitor Management System computer in reception to inform Mr Lyden of your arrival. The system will take your photograph, send an email with your photograph to Mr Lyden to alert him to your arrival and will issue you with a visitor's badge.
Proper Photo-ID will be required before certificates can be issued.
Candidates are required to sign to confirm receipt of their certificates and that they are correct
If any candidate is unable to collect their own certificates in person then they must first give proper authority, via a letter or email, for a suitable substitute to collect and check the certificate's on the candidate's behalf. The academy accepts no responsibility if the substitute does not check the certificates correctly.
The authorisation letter must addressed to Mr Lyden, Senior Exams Officer or an authorisation email to email@example.com
The letter/email must state who will collect your certificates and the person collecting the certificates should bring proper photo-id evidence of their identity and recently issued proof of address and be willing to have these documents copied.
Certificates pertaining to examinations taken in Summer 2017.
Summer 2017 certificates must be collected by December 2018.
Exam board regulations require the academy to retain certificates for a period of only 1 year before securely destroying them.
Lost or damaged certificates
If you have lost or damaged your certificates you should contact the relevant examination boards who will charge a fee to issue replacement certificates / statement of results.
The academy is unable to replace lost or damaged certificates.
