The school is on the boundaries of 3 London boroughs: Hounslow, Ealing & Hillingdon and has approximately 25 feeder primary schools.  It enjoys two large blocks built in the mid 1970's on a site just south of the M4 motorway close to Junction 3.  Since its beginnings as one of four designated Community Schools in the London Borough of Hounslow, Cranford has grown in size and now has a student population of over 1400.  This has meant some additional building and there are now two designated 6th Form Study Centres.
