Cranford Community College Reception Opening times: 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m

Students are expected to have left the school site by 4:45 p.m. unless involved in a pre-arranged event or activity agreed or organised by the school.  Reception is open in the evening for Community Sports Users and Lettings. For more information on Community Sports and Lettings please click here

Car Parking is limited during school hours and reserved for school staff.   Parents and visitors who have appointments may use the car park if space is available.   Please note parents or visitors must not park on the road at the front of the school. .

Reporting a child’s absence:  Parents/Guardians must call the main school number to report a student absence before 9 a.m. on the day of absence.  If a student is absent for more than one day, the parent/guardian must call on each day of absence unless a sick certificate has been provided by the G.P. or hospital.  To contact us click here

Dropping items to reception: Students should come fully equipped to school each day and check the night before that they have everything they need for the following school day. Please note that if on occasions items are left with reception staff to pass on to a student, every effort will be made to get the item to a child, if it is appropriate.  However, the school cannot guarantee that this will be possible.  Student Support and the Year Manager for the child will be notified but there are occasions when they are not available.  Please note the reception will not accept or pass on mobile phones to students.

Behaviour on the school site: The school has a zero tolerance of abusive, aggressive or violent behaviour.

Cranford Community College will not tolerate aggressive or obstructive behaviour, swearing, threatened or actual physical harm.

Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated nor will malicious damage or theft.

Any individual who displays abusive, aggressive or violent behaviour will be asked to leave the site and may be reported to the police. If appropriate, an exclusion order may be issued to prevent an individual from coming to or near Cranford Community College.
